Setback Requirements. The Transferee for himself, his heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns covenants and agrees that heat pumps, air-conditioning units, pool filters, sheds and decks are building appurtenances and shall meet the minimum setback requirements established in the City’s zoning by-law(s).

However, any numbered lot whose rear lot line is contiguous with the lake shoreline there may be constructed and maintained, at or adjacent to the shoreline, any boat shelter, pier, or similar structure in respect to the size, design, construction, or placement of which the Building Control Committee shall have issued a license or permit. The term “rear lot line” defines the boundary line of the lot that is farthest from the substantially parallel to, the line of the street on which the lot abuts, except that on corner lots it may be determined from either street line. Setbacks involving concave, convex, meandering lines, or setbacks on multiple contiguous lots shall be determined by the Building Control Committee.
