Short Term Disability Benefit. A regular employee, or a temporary employee who has worked more than one thousand forty (1040) straight time hours who shall suffer any disabling illness or injury while not in work status, shall be entitled to disability payments in such amounts and under such conditions as described herein: . If this individual is unable to return to work at the expiration of this unpaid leave, their employment with the Company will be terminated and all accrued benefits will be paid at the time of termination.
