Shortage of Engineers on Spareboard. Should a shortage of engineers exist at North Bay, Xxxxxxxxx, or Xxxxxxxx the Railway reserves the right to transfer, temporarily, a sufficient number of engineers to protect the service. Men so transferred will be permitted to return to their home stations as soon as it can be shown that there is a sufficient number of men in the respective classifications at the away from home point to protect the service. When engineers are required to leave home station, the junior engineer not working as such will be required to go. Engineers transferred in accordance with this Article may declare for any vacancy, permanent or temporary at the time of the transfer. Engineers protecting service in accordance with the above will be released from the vacancy, providing they have notified the Crew Management Center of their desire when a junior engineer not working as such becomes available

  • Contractor’s Equipment Payment for required equipment owned by the Construction Manager or an affiliate of the Construction Manager will be based solely on an hourly rate derived by dividing the current appropriate monthly rate by 176 hours. No payment will be made under any circumstances for repair costs, freight and transportation charges, fuel, lubricants, insurance, any other costs and expenses, or overhead and profit. Payment for such equipment made idle by delays attributable to the Government will be based on one-half the derived hourly rate under this subsection.
