Sick Leave - During Authorized Vacation. Employees who are on authorized vacation and become ill, or otherwise disabled through accident, not as a result of vicious habits or intemperance, may charge such sickness or disablement to credited sick leave, provided a doctor's certificate is presented to the Director of Administrative Services, indicating the total number of days to be so charged.
