Sick Leave Policy. The College recognizes that from time to time employees will need to take sick leave. Paid sick leave will be used only for personal illness, adoption, injury or pregnancy, or medical appointments necessary to earn health points. Xxxx leave may also be used for death, illness, or injury to a member of the employee’s immediate family. Sick leave shall be paid at the employee’s regular rate of compensation. Employees who properly use sick leave in accordance with article 17 and/or college policy and procedure will not be disciplined.
