SICK TIME PAYMENT/CONVERSION. All classified employees may be compensated for accrued, unused sick time upon their separation in good standing from employment as follows: Years Employed Payment Percentage 5-9 50% 10-14 60% 15-19 75% 20+ 100% Payments are limited to a maximum of one thousand forty (1,040) hours for full-time employees, and five hundred twenty (520) hours for part-time employees at the employeescurrent rate of pay at time of separation. Employees who are terminated from City employment for just cause, abandon their position, or resign without providing advance notice pursuant to Article “13” – Separations and Layoffs forfeit all accumulated sick time. If an employee does not use any sick time in a twelve (12) month period, a full-time employee may convert eight (8) hours of sick time to vacation time and a part-time employee may convert four (4) hours, immediately following his/her anniversary date of employment.

  • Sick Leave Conversion On January 1 of each year, an employee may convert up to a maximum of 30 hours accumulated sick leave at fifty percent (50%) cash value for the sole purpose of reimbursing the employee for medical costs. This conversion is subject to the following:

  • Annual Conversion Once per fiscal year, an employee may elect to cash out annual leave in the amount of forty

  • Minimum Call-Back Time An employee who is called in and required to work outside their regular working hours shall be paid for a minimum of two (2) hours at overtime rates unless the call-in is immediately prior to their normal work day, in which case there should be no minimum.

  • Casual Conversion (a) A casual employee who has been rostered on a regular and systematic basis over a period of 26 weeks has the right to request conversion to permanent employment:

  • PAYMENT TERMS/PRE-PAYMENT/QUANTITY DISOUNTS If discounts for accelerated payment, pre-payment, progress payment, or quantity discounts are offered, they must be clearly indicated in the Contractor’s submission prior to contract award. The applicability or acceptance of these terms is at the discretion of the Customer.

  • Call Back From Vacation (a) Employees who have commenced their annual vacation shall not be called back to work, except in cases of extreme emergency.

  • Notice of Termination Payment As soon as practicable after calculation of a Termination Payment, notice shall be given by the Non-Defaulting Party to the Defaulting Party of the amount of the Termination Payment and whether the Termination Payment is due to or due from the Non-Defaulting Party. The notice shall include a written statement explaining in reasonable detail the calculation of such amount. Subject to Section 5.4(b) above, the Termination Payment shall be made by the Party that owes it within three (3) Business Days after such notice is effective.

  • Calculation of Termination Payment If an Early Termination Date has been declared, the Non-Defaulting Party shall calculate, in a commercially reasonable manner, the Termination Payment in accordance with this Section 10.3.

  • Notice of Payment of Termination Payment As soon as practicable after a liquidation, Notice shall be given by the Non-Defaulting Party to the Defaulting Party of the amount of the Termination Payment and whether the Termination Payment is due to the Non-Defaulting Party. The Notice shall include a written statement explaining in reasonable detail the calculation of such amount and the sources for such calculation. The Termination Payment shall be made to the Non-Defaulting Party, as applicable, within ten (10) Business Days after such Notice is effective.
