Sickness at Work Provision. An employee who suffers emergency sickness during working hours, and is required to leave for treatment or is sent home as a result, shall receive payment for the remainder of the shift at their regular hourly rate of pay unless a doctor or nurse states that the employee is fit for further work on that shift. To be eligible for this pay, the employee must report to the supervisor before leaving the plant.
