Common use of SLEEP OVER ALLOWANCE Clause in Contracts

SLEEP OVER ALLOWANCE. Where the University requires a staff member not permanently residing on the University campus to sleep-over on University premises for a period outside the ordinary hours of duty of the staff member, the staff member will be entitled to an allowance per sleep-over period in accordance with existing University Policy in relation to sleep over allowances. The allowance payable will be $43.60 or 5.31% of the weekly rate derived from the HEW level 3, step 7 annual salary, whichever is the greater.
