Common use of Smoke Detectors Clause in Contracts

Smoke Detectors. To keep all smoke detectors in the leased premises unobstructed at all times; not to tamper with or render inoperable any smoke detector, heat detector, sprinkler, or any part of a fire detection or fire prevention system (including the removal of the battery from a battery-operated smoke detector) on LHA’s property; and to notify LHA immediately of the malfunction or inoperability of any smoke detector in the leased premises; to replace uncharged batteries in any battery-operated smoke detector as necessary to maintain its operation or to notify LHA immediately of the need for such replacement.
