Common use of Special Leave for School Term Employees Clause in Contracts

Special Leave for School Term Employees. School-term employees and custodians may be permitted to use up to two (2) days vacation allotment outside the months of July and August for the following reasons: • Serious fire or flood in employees’ household • Formal hearing to become a Canadian Citizen • Employee’s or employee’s spouse or dependent’s graduation from high school or post-secondary Such requests will not be unreasonably denied.
