SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR ELECTION DAYS. (a) Whenever the Employer is required by law to close any of its operations on an election day, those employees who would otherwise have been scheduled to work on that day, shall be paid their regular wages for the day, and may be required by the Employer to work during their regularly scheduled shift in the performance of tasks which are generally related to their normal duties.

SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR ELECTION DAYS. (a) Whenever the Employer is required by law to close any of its operations on an election day, those employees who would otherwise have been scheduled to work on that day, shall be paid their regular wages for the day, and may be required by the Employer to work during their regularly scheduled shift in the perform- ance of tasks which are related to their nor- mal duties. Any employee who wishes to take advantage of his right to be free from work for the clear period estab- lished by applicable legislation, in order to vote in a Federal or Provincial general election, may do so by electing one of the following options at least forty- eight hours in advance of the date when the work his department is normally posted. He may request his department head in writing to shorten his regular daily shift in order to increase the amount of his clear period to a maximum of the amount established by-the applicable legislation. In such case the Employer will be required to com- ply with the employee’s request, but will not be required to pay him for the time not worked.

In such case the er will be required to with the request, but will not required to pay him for the time not worked. He may request his department head in writing to reschedule his daily shift in order to maintain his regular number of hours. In such case the Em may accommodate the request b the starting time of his shift to minimum extent re to produce the clear period by the applicable legislation, or ma decline the request. Where the Employer such a request, the em will be permitted to arrive late or to early, as the case might be, and will be paid at his normal straight time rate for the time not worked. The provisions of Paragraph apply in their entirety to Municipal elections, in which case the clear shall, in the absence of legislation to the contrary, e the same as for Provincial general elections.

  • Special Provisions for Affected Systems For the re-payment of amounts advanced to Affected System Operator for System Upgrade Facilities or System Deliverability Upgrades, the Developer and Affected System Operator shall enter into an agreement that provides for such re-payment, but only if responsibility for the cost of such System Upgrade Facilities or System Deliverability Upgrades is not to be allocated in accordance with Attachment S to the ISO OATT. The agreement shall specify the terms governing payments to be made by the Developer to the Affected System Operator as well as the re-payment by the Affected System Operator.

  • Contract Provisions for Orders Utilizing Federal Funds Pursuant to Appendix II to 2 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 200, Contract Provisions for Non-Federal Entity Contracts Under Federal Awards, Orders funded with federal funds may have additional contractual requirements or certifications that must be satisfied at the time the Order is placed or upon delivery. These federal requirements may be proposed by Participating Entities in Participating Addenda and Purchasing Entities for incorporation in Orders placed under this Master Agreement.

  • Financial Provisions Any cooperative activities envisaged or undertaken under this Agreement shall be subject to the availability of resources and to the laws, regulations and policies of the Parties. Costs of cooperative activities shall be borne in such manner as may be mutually determined from time to time between the Parties.
