Election Day. Employees shall be granted two (2) hours to vote on any election day only if, due to scheduling of work, they would not otherwise be able to vote.
Election Day. If, by reason of an election day ordinance, the Company is prevented from making deliveries in any area, the Company shall have the right to reassign affected employees providing that such reassignment shall not displace other employees, and in the event no reassignment is made, shall pay such employees at their straight time rate of pay for the hours of layoff resulting.
Election Day. Upon notice, an employee will be given two (2) hours off to vote during a primary or general election unless he/she has the full day off as a holiday (see § 4.7 (A)).

An employee desiring to take such time off shall arrange the exact hours of intended absence with his/her supervisor at least two (2) work days prior to the election.

In case of war, emergency conditions, or other military emergencies, this language will not apply.

Election Day. All employees scheduled to work overtime during day shift on Election Days will only be scheduled to work eight (8) hours such days.
