Leave for Medical and Dental Care (a) Where it is not possible to schedule medical and/or dental appointments outside regularly scheduled working hours, reasonable time off for medical and dental appointments for employees shall be permitted, if the Employer is notified at the time the appointment is made. Where any such absence exceeds two (2) hours, the full-time absence shall be charged to the entitlement described in Article 20.13.
Specialty Pay (a) Employees who are assigned to the following positions will be entitled to specialty pay at the following rates:
Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance a. Effective July 1, 2002, medical benefits shall be offered through CalPERS Health Plans.
Dental and Vision Insurance The Agency shall continue dental and vision plans that permit dependent coverage. The Agency shall continue to pay the premium for dental and vision coverage for the employee only. Dependent coverage shall be paid by the employee.
Insurance and Fingerprint Requirements Information Insurance If applicable and your staff will be on TIPS member premises for delivery, training or installation etc. and/or with an automobile, you must carry automobile insurance as required by law. You may be asked to provide proof of insurance. Fingerprint It is possible that a vendor may be subject to Chapter 22 of the Texas Education Code. Fleet In general, any in-house mechanic may be assigned to respond to any emergency during normal working hours in any of the three operating companies. (This does not supersede the Mechanic Personnel Working Across 309 Jurisdictional Boundaries Agreement dated October 4, 2007). Example 1: Lincoln (CILCO) unit breaks down in the northern part of its territory. It would make sense for the Bloomington (rp) mechanic to respond to the service call. Lincoln staffs a 2nd shift mechanic only and the vehicle in need of repair is closer to the Bloomington garage. This example covers areas that both have Ameren in-house mechanics. Example 2: Any CIPS 702 units could be repaired by Ameren staffed mechanics in 702 territories. This would generally happen in areas that are in close proximity to an IP or CILCO garage. This example covers 702 CIPS areas that do not have Ameren in-house mechanics. These jobs currently are outsourced. Perform Preventive Maintenance on CIPS 702 equipment at individual operating centers where advantageous. This work is currently outsourced. It is not the company’s intent to perform all PM’s with in-house mechanics.
Non-Exclusive Management Sub-Adviser, its officers, employees, and agents, may have or take the same or similar positions in specific investments for their own accounts, or for the accounts of other clients, as the Sub-Adviser does for the Fund. Adviser expressly acknowledges and understands that Sub-Adviser shall be free to render investment advice to others and that Sub-Adviser does not make its investment management services available exclusively to Adviser or the Fund. Nothing in this Agreement shall impose upon the Sub-Adviser any obligation to purchase or sell, or to recommend for purchase or sale, for the Fund any security which the Sub-Adviser, its principals, affiliates or employees, may purchase or sell for their own accounts or for the account of any other client, if in the reasonable opinion of the Sub-Adviser such investment would be unsuitable for the Fund or if the Sub-Adviser determines in the best interest of the Fund such purchase or sale would be impractical.
Income Protection Insurance The Employer shall provide Income Protection Insurance through an ETU nominated policy and scheme. It is agreed that the premium will be collected and administered by the “Protect” Severance Scheme at the same time as severance payments are made. Income protection will be paid for the employees and will be paid for all periods of authorised absence and cannot be on a pro-rata basis. It is agreed the Income Protection Insurance payments are paid on a monthly basis by the 14th day of each month. It is agreed that if the Employer has not made a valid or current insurance payment to “Protect”, the Employer shall be liable for any loss of earnings or benefits that would have otherwise been given to the employee. It is the intention of NECA and the ETU to seek a lower premium. The premium rates and level of cover shall not exceed the amounts set out in the final column of the table above. The insurance benefits contained in this Policy will not be reduced during the life of this Agreement.
