Weekend Hours. All workers newly hired after July 1, 1997 will be required to sign a statement agreeing that they may be required to work on Saturday or Sunday, and that their shift or schedule may be changed by management. Such changes shall take place two (2) weeks after the worker and the Chief Xxxxxxx have been notified in writing of the shift or schedule change. The procedures outlined in Article 17.1 regarding changes to shift or schedule do not apply to those workers hired after July 1, 1997; however, if requested, the parties will meet informally to discuss the change during the two (2) weeks. Workers hired prior to July 1, 1997 may have their schedules changed under the procedures outlined in Article 17.1. However, such changes cannot include Saturday or Sunday hours without the written consent of the worker as provided for in Education Code §88010.5. Such workers retain these rights regardless of layoff, reinstatement, demotion or promotion. Workers hired prior to July 1, 1997 may be required to work occasionally on Saturday or Sunday on an overtime basis.

Weekend Hours. The parties acknowledge that there are positions that will be scheduled solely for evenings and weekends every week. For other positions, the Corporation will make an effort not to schedule employees to work more than two (2) consecutive weekends within a given scheduled period.   • Weekend Holidays 9.3.1. A full-time employee who works a Monday through Friday schedule and the calendar holiday falls on a Saturday, the employee shall be allowed the preceding day off. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the employee shall be allowed the following day off. If the employee works the day preceding or following such a holiday, he/she shall be given another workday off with pay or shall receive payment for that day at the regular rate.

  • Weekends Holidays that fall on weekends will be observed on a day established by the School District.

If the hours of operation are stated on the menu, Xxxxxx Xxx Ltd shall be entitles to treat these as the Opening Hours unless the Restaurant informs Xxxxxx Xxx Ltd otherwise.

  • Extra Hours For the purpose of Clause 20.13, extra hours means any hours available to be worked in excess of an employee’s regular schedule. The Corporation shall determine the extra hours it requires in each circumstance, and offer such hours to employees working in that Post Office in accordance with the provisions of this Clause.

  • Overtime Hours Except as otherwise provided in this section, all hours worked in excess of the established work day, before or after an employee's regular scheduled shift, or on any regularly scheduled day off, shall be considered overtime. All paid vacation time, paid holidays, paid sick leave, compensatory time off, and paid leaves of absence shall be considered as "time worked" for purposes of this Article. Part-time employees whose established work day is less than eight (8) hours shall not be considered to be working overtime until having completed eight (8) hours of work.
