Specific Duties and Responsibilities. The duties and responsibilities assigned to the Assistant Athletics Director in connection with the Program are set forth below. The list of specific duties and responsibilities supplements, and is not exclusive of, other general duties and responsibilities provided for elsewhere in this Agreement. The specific responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: (1) Assistant Athletics Director will work with the Athletics Director to assure that the Athletics Department has plans, policies, procedures, and programs that are in compliance with the Governing Athletics Rules and University Rules, and that promote the mission of the University, the University’s high standard of academic excellence, and the general welfare of student-athletes. (2) The University has established a tradition of ethical conduct at all levels of University life. In accordance with this tradition, Assistant Athletics Director, as a member of the Athletics Department, agrees to represent the University in an honorable and ethical manner at all times. Standards for ethical conduct are established and enforced by the University, the University of Texas System, the __________ Conference, and the NCAA.
