Each SRO shall conduct himself or herself as a role model at all times and in all facets of the job; shall seek to establish a strong rapport with staff, faculty, students, and others associated with the school; and shall encourage students to develop positive attitudes towards the school, education, law enforcement officers, and positive living in general. a. Interaction with parent and faculty groups. The SRO shall be strongly encouraged to attend meetings of parent and faculty groups to solicit their support and understanding of the School Resource Officer Program and to promote awareness of law enforcement functions during the SRO’s regular duty hours.
