Staff Assignment Advisory Committee. a) Each Branch of the Bargaining Unit shall elect a Staff Assignment Advisory Committee. The Staff Assignment Advisory Committee shall be an advisory body to the Principal in determining staff assignments within the school. It is recognized that the Principal has the final responsibility and the duty under the Education Act. The Committee shall consist of the Principal or his/her designate, the Vice-Principal responsible for timetabling, the Branch President or designate and a second representative from the Branch Executive. The Committee shall be assisted by such other personnel as it may determine are appropriate.
