Common use of Stage II Clause in Contracts

Stage II. 5.2.2.1 If Stage I fails to resolve the grievance, the grievance may be referred to the Mediation Committee in writing by any party. The purpose of the Committee is to resolve the grievance to the satisfaction of both parties. To this end, the Committee shall bring the parties together and shall actively pursue possible compromises without jeopardizing the rights of any solutions or parties under the Agreement. This stage shall not exceed fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of referral.
