Common use of Standard of Service Clause in Contracts

Standard of Service. 2.2.1 The Director shall exercise all his skills, reasonable care, responsibility and diligence in discharge of his duties under this contract. The Director shall do so with sound professional conduct in accordance with generally accepted standards. 2.2.2 Nothing in this Agreement diminishes the obligations, duties or accountabilities of the Director in terms of his contract of employment, or the effects of existing or new regulations, circulars, policies, directives or other instruments.
