Common use of Standby Call Rates Clause in Contracts

Standby Call Rates. Effective on the ratification date of this Agreement, nurses assigned to standby call shall receive $4.75 per hour for all hours spent on standby call. A nurse on standby call is expected to report to the Medical Center ready to work within minutes (30 minutes in surgical services) of a call-in, except in unusual circumstances where safety needs prevent the nurse from meeting this time frame.
