Common use of Starting Work Clause in Contracts

Starting Work. (a) An Employee who starts work and is prevented from completing their normal work day will receive a minimum of 4 hours pay at their applicable hourly rate of pay. If the work is suspended because of inclement weather or other reasons completely beyond the control of an Employer, the minimum received will be 2 hours at the applicable hourly rate of pay. The Employee will also receive their full accommodation allowance if and when applicable.
