Statement of Political Contributions. Contractor shall comply with the Election Law Article, Title 14 Subtitle 1, Md. Code Xxx., which requires that a person doing public business with the State, shall file a statement with the State Board of Elections as provided in section 14- 104. Generally, this applies to every person that enters into contracts, leases, or other agreements with the State of Maryland or a political subdivision of the State, including its agencies, during a calendar year in which the person receives in the aggregate $200,000 or more, shall file with the State Board of Election a statement disclosing contributions in excess of $500 made during the reporting period to a candidate for elective office in any primary or general election.

  • Political Contributions Neither the Company nor any of its Subsidiaries has, directly or indirectly, at any time (x) made any contributions to any candidate for political office, or failed to disclose fully any such contribution, in violation of law; (y) made any payment to any state, federal or foreign governmental officer or official, or other person charged with similar public or quasi-public duties, other than payments required or allowed by all applicable laws; or (z) violated nor is it in violation of any provision of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977, as amended.

  • Tax Credit for Contributions You may be eligible to receive a tax credit for your IRA contributions. This credit will be allowed in addition to any tax deduction that may apply, and may not exceed $1,000 in a given year. You may be eligible for this tax credit if you are • age 18 or older as of the close of the taxable year, • not a dependent of another taxpayer, and • not a full-time student. The credit is based upon your income (see chart below), and will range from 0 to 50 percent of eligible contributions.   • Organizational Contributions In connection with the formation of the Partnership under the Delaware Act, the General Partner made an initial Capital Contribution to the Partnership in the amount of $20.00, for a 2% General Partner Interest in the Partnership and has been admitted as the General Partner of the Partnership, and the Organizational Limited Partner made an initial Capital Contribution to the Partnership in the amount of $980 for a 98% Limited Partner Interest in the Partnership and has been admitted as a Limited Partner of the Partnership. The capital accounts of the members shall be adjusted for distributions and allocations made in accordance with Section 8.

  • Initial Capital Contributions The Partners have made, on or prior to the date hereof, Capital Contributions and have acquired the number of Class A Units as specified in the books and records of the Partnership.
