States of Victoria and South Australia. The following provisions shall apply in the States of Victoria and South Australia in the case of the Company who is subjected to restriction or rationing in the use of electric energy and/or gas and/or emergency disconnection thereof in accordance with orders or regulations approved by the appropriate lawful authority: (a) If by reason of such restriction or rationing or emergency disconnection the Company is unable usefully to employ an employee for the whole or part of any day or shift may deduct from the wages of that employee payment for any part of the day or shift such employee cannot be usefully employed provided that: 35.4.1. (a)(i) if the Company requires the employee to attend for work but is not able to employ the employee usefully the employee shall be entitled to be paid for two hours work; 35.4.1. (a)(ii) where an employee commences work the entitlement will be to be paid for four hours' work; 35.4.1. (a)(iii) an employee stood down shall be regarded as having continuity of service and employment for all purposes; 35.4.1. (a)(iv) this paragraph shall not apply to an apprentice. (b) An Company may require a day worker to perform ordinary hours of work (or any such ordinary hours of work) at any time on any day other than on a Sunday on the basis of 38 hours per week as provided in clause 31- Hours of work. The following rates of pay shall apply for such work: 35.4.1. (b)(i) For work performed on Monday to Friday from 7.00 a.m. to 5.30 35.4.1. (b)(ii) For work performed between noon and midnight on Saturday - ordinary rate plus 25%. 35.4.1. (b)(iii) For work performed at all other times other than on a Sunday - ordinary rate plus 10%. 35.4.1 (b)(iv) Notwithstanding 35.4.1.(b)(ii) and 35.4.1.(b)(iii)above an employee required to commence work between the hours of (c) The Company may require a shift worker to perform hours of work at any time other than on a Sunday on the basis of 38 hours per week as provided in 6.1. By signing this Agreement, Contractor confirms that Contractor has read and understood that the City urges companies doing business in Northern Ireland to resolve employment inequities and to abide by the XxxXxxxx Principles, and urges San Francisco companies to do business with corporations that abide by the XxxXxxxx Principles.

  • Canada A Signature Guarantee obtained from an authorized officer of the Royal Bank of Canada, Scotia Bank or TD Canada Trust. The Guarantor must affix a stamp bearing the actual words “Signature Guaranteed”, sign and print their full name and alpha numeric signing number.
