DAY WORKERA day worker is an employee who is assigned to a job which is scheduled for eight (8) hours (with a twenty minute paid lunch period between the hours 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.) between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
DAY WORKERAn employee who during the period of such recreation leave would have worked on day work only - an allowance calculated at the rate of 17.5% of his/her normal salary plus, where applicable, any higher duty allowance or all purpose payment payable to the employee concerned.

DAY WORKERA day worker shall not be required to work in excess of 5 hours without a break for a meal. Provided the 5 hours may be extended to 6 hours due to an operational requirement or by agreement with the employee concerned. The meal breaks shall be unpaid.
