DAY WORKER. A day worker is an employee who is assigned to a job which is scheduled for eight (8) hours (with a twenty minute paid lunch period between the hours 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.) between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
DAY WORKER. An employee who during the period of such recreation leave would have worked on day work only - an allowance calculated at the rate of 17.5% of his/her normal salary plus, where applicable, any higher duty allowance or all purpose payment payable to the employee concerned.
DAY WORKER. A day worker is an employee who is normally required to work eight (8) hours per day, Monday through Friday, inclusive, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., except as otherwise provided. SENIORITY: Seniority means an employee’s continuous length of service with the employer in the PMLD bargaining unit from his or her original date of hire. Employees hired prior to ratification of this Agreement will retain any and all seniority previously accrued with the City of Plattsburgh.
DAY WORKER. An Employee who, if not taking annual leave would otherwise have worked on day work only, a loading of 17.5% of the Employee’s Base Rate of Pay, that rate to include any higher duty allowance or other all-purpose payment to which the Employee is entitled;
DAY WORKER. Subject to clause 6.3 (Working of a 38 hour week) and subject to the exceptions hereinafter provided, the ordinary hours of work shall be an average of 38 per week, to be worked on one of the following ways:
(a) 38 hours within a work cycle not exceeding 7 consecutive days; or (b)76 hours within a work cycle not exceeding 14 consecutive days; or

In the case of an employee whose ordinary hours of work are arranged in accordance with clause 18, Hours of Duty, of this award, the weekday to be taken off shall not coincide with a public holiday fixed in accordance with subclause (a) of this clause; provided that, in the event that a public holiday is prescribed after an employee has been given notice of a weekday off in accordance with the said clause 18, of this award and the public holiday falls on the weekday the employee is to take off, the employer shall allow the employee to take the day off on an alternative weekday.

DAY WORKER. A day worker shall not be required to work in excess of 5 hours without a break for a meal. Provided the 5 hours may be extended to 6 hours due to an operational requirement or by agreement with the employee concerned. The meal breaks shall be unpaid.
