Common use of Step III: Director of Education Clause in Contracts

Step III: Director of Education. (a) Should the Teacher be dissatisfied with the decision of the appropriate Superintendent, the Teacher may refer such grievance to the Director of Education within five (5) working days of receipt of the reply from the appropriate Superintendent. (b) The Director of Education shall answer the grievance in writing within five (5) working days of receipt of the statement of grievance. (c) If the grievance is not settled, it may be referred to arbitration as provided in Article 18:05 within ten (10) working days of receipt of the decision of the Director of Education.
