Step Three - Superintendent Level. If a settlement is not reached at Step Two, the employee or the Federation may present the grievance to the Superintendent of Schools within five (5) school days after the decision has been rendered at Step Two. The grievance must be submitted in writing stating the specific nature of the grievance and the remedy requested and shall include a copy of the Step Two decision. The Superintendent may schedule a meeting at a mutually convenient time to discuss the grievance with the employee and the Federation. Both parties reserve the right to include consultants in any such meeting. The Superintendent shall respond in writing together with supporting reasons to the employee, Federation and principal within ten (10) school days from the date the grievance is filed at Step Three.
