Common use of Storage of Materials Clause in Contracts

Storage of Materials. Contractor shall store all materials to preserve their quality and fitness for the work. Unless otherwise provided, any portion of the project site within the Project Contract Limit not required for public travel may be used for storage purposes and for the Contractor’s plant and equipment. Any additional space required shall be provided by the Contractor at its expense subject to the Project Manager’s acceptance. Contractor shall store materials on wooden platforms or other hard, clean surfaces and covered to protect it from the weather and damage. Stored materials shall be located to allow prompt inspection.
