Store Stewards and Business. To the extent that the operation of the business will allow, Store Managers will endeavour not to schedule the Store Xxxxxxx and the Sub-xxxxxxx on the night shift at the same time. When a Store Manager considers it necessary to take the actions set out in Article he will make every possible effort to do so while the Xxxxxxx or Sub-xxxxxxx is on duty in the store. If the Xxxxxxx or Xxxxxxx is not on duty and the circumstances will allow, he will postpone the action until either the Xxxxxxx or the Sub-xxxxxxx is next on duty. Where it is impossible or impractical to postpone the action, the employee will have the choice of another employee in the bargaining unit in the store at the time to be present as a witness. Union Business Agents will make every effort to plan their routine visits to stores at a time when the Manager is on duty.
