Student at School. The Main Office is regularly being called upon to deliver forgotten items such as keys, lunches, money, messages, sports equipment, projects, requests to run errands, and even flowers. Neither the Main Office nor the Student Center is staffed to deliver messages. Delivery of these items also necessitates undesirable classroom interruptions. Please use the Attendance Office for emergency and transportation contacts only. Take precautions to prevent the kinds of problems mentioned above by having duplicate sets of keys and by advance planning. The Office will not deliver nonemergency items or correspondence to the students. No faxed papers, homework, permission notes, or attendance notes will be accepted. Loyola High School does not consider a facsimile transmission as a legal document. Please note that communication with students via text message or call to the student’s mobile device may disrupt class, and the student may have his phone confiscated and receive JUG in such an occurence (see the section on Electronics in Student Conduct).

  • High School At the request of the Superintendent, a high school teacher may volunteer on a semester basis to teach all the student contact time and be paid one sixth (1/6) of his/her salary for the semester. This section shall not be used to circumvent the hiring of additional full time teachers.

  • High Schools Wherever possible, no more than eighty students shall be tested at any one time.

  • Student Discipline CONTRACTOR shall maintain and abide by a written policy for student discipline that is consistent with state and federal law and regulations. When CONTRACTOR seeks to remove a student from his/her current educational placement for disciplinary reasons, CONTRACTOR shall immediately submit a written discipline report to the LEA and a manifestation IEP team meeting shall be scheduled. Written discipline reports shall include, but not be limited to: the student’s name; the time, date, and description of the misconduct; the disciplinary action taken by CONTRACTOR; and the rationale for such disciplinary action. A copy of the student’s behavior plan, if any, shall be submitted with the written discipline report. CONTRACTOR and XXX agree to participate in a manifestation determination at an IEP meeting no later than the tenth (10th) day of suspension. CONTRACTOR shall notify and invite XXX representatives to the IEP team meeting where the manifestation determination will be made.

  • School Any public elementary or secondary school including a charter school, universal pre- kindergarten program authorized pursuant to Education Law § 3602-e, an approved provider of preschool special education, any other publicly funded pre-kindergarten program, a school serving children in a special act school district as defined in Education Law § 4001, an approved private school for the education of students with disabilities, a State-supported school subject to the provisions of Article 85 of the Education Law, or a State-operated school subject to the provisions of Articles 87 or 88 of the Education Law.

  • MIDDLE SCHOOLS 1. Where there are no negotiated provisions concerning the implementation or operation of a middle school program, this article shall govern the implementation or operation of a middle school program in a school district.

  • School Equipment The Association shall have the right to use audio-visual and/or duplicating equipment provided all costs incurred therewith are paid for by the Association. Association use of school equipment shall not interfere with school use. The building principal must approve any Association use that involves a cost.

  • School Nurses The salary of a nurse with a graduate nursing degree will be 90% of the XX Xxxx of Schedule A. The salary of a nurse with a BS Nursing Degree will be the same as the XX Xxxx of Schedule A.

  • Use of School Equipment The Association shall have the right to use school facilities and equipment, including duplicating equipment, calculating machines, computers and printers and all types of audiovisual equipment at reasonable times, when such equipment is not otherwise in use.

  • Summer School SUCCESS employees are not eligible for this provision. Employees engaged in teaching summer school shall be granted two summer school days of absence in a single term for either sick leave or emergency leave, or a combination of both, non-accumulative.
