SUB LETTING OF WORK. No contractor shall sublet or assign any work in part or whole to any firm, individual, partnership firm, Pvt. Ltd., Company, Proprietorship firm etc without the prior written permission of BCPL. In case the contractor sublets or assigns the contract in part or whole without the prior written permission of BCPL and any claim referred by any firm / individual to BCPL stating that the main contractor has not paid his or their dues/ payments, in that circumstances, BCPL shall without assigning any reasons, withhold from the payments of contractor, the amount equivalent to the claim amount of sub-contractor/ individual/ vendor
SUB LETTING OF WORK. Under no circumstances, the transporter after entering the rate contract would be permitted to arrange transportation of consignments entrusted to him through another transporter/ agencies. However, hiring of vehicles and services from other transporters/agencies/ brokers of repute in the market is permitted. Violation shall lead to forfeiture of Performance Security Deposit and finally termination of the contract.

In case the contractor sub lets or assigns the contract in part or whole without the prior written permission of GAIL and any claim referred by any firm / individual to GAIL stating that the main contractor has not paid his or their dues/ payments, in that circumstances, GAIL shall without assigning any reasons, withhold from the payments of contractor, the amount equivalent to the claim amount of sub contractor/ individual/ vendor (s) etc. The same shall be released to the contractor after contractor and labour/ supplier/ sub contractor jointly submits a joint written settlement to GAIL.

SUB LETTING OF WORK i) No part of the Contract nor any share or interest there shall in any manner or degree be transferred assigned sublet by the Contractor directly or indirectly to any firm or corporation whosoever except as provided for in the succeeding sub- clause, without the consent writing of the Owner.
