Submission of Grievance to Division Head. Within ten (10) days of receiving the request, there shall be a Step 2 meeting with the Division Head, or the Division Head shall provide a written response. Although no meeting is required at this step, the employee and his/her representative may be present at, and participate in, any such hearing as the Division Head may conduct. If the grievance is not settled, within ten (10) days of the Step 2 response either party may request in writing that it be referred to the next step.
