Common use of SUSPENSION OF CONTRACTS Clause in Contracts

SUSPENSION OF CONTRACTS. 1. Reductions under this procedure shall be accomplished through the suspension of a teacher's contract. The Superintendent shall notify the teacher and the Association in writing of his/her intention to recommend a contract suspension at least thirty (30) days prior to the Board meeting at which such recommendation is to be made. Such notice shall contain the reason for the recommendation. 2. The Treasurer shall notify the teacher in writing, within five (5) work days, of the Board action to suspend his/her contract.
