SWEPT PATH ANALYSIS. A swept path analysis is to be undertaken to show how the largest vehicle can enter and exit the subject site. These will be used to determine the largest vehicle permitted to service the site and the width of the driveway crossing. The width of the driveway crossing is to be minimised as much as possible, in accordance with Section 3.11.11(7) of the Sydney Development Control Plan 2012. The swept path diagrams are to be submitted as part of any detailed design development application for the site.

SWEPT PATH ANALYSIS. This will be a HGV on industrial / distributor roads or a PCC refuse collection vehicle (Phoenix 2- 23W, 10.5m length) for residential developments. Full details of the vehicle used in the swept path analysis are also required. If the scheme includes a bus route, a bus should also be shown. Movements must be shown exiting in both directions and entering from both directions (whilst a stationary vehicle is shown waiting to exit). Reason: To ensure that the new roads are of sufficient dimensions to accommodate the vehicles which will be using them.
SWEPT PATH ANALYSIS. A swept path analysis is to be submitted and approved by the Council and RMS prior to issue of any construction certificate. The swept path analysis needs to clearly show the width of both Xxxxxx Street and XxXxxx Street and demonstrate the maximum size vehicle that will enter and exit to the site in a forward direction.
