System Integration Assessments. In support of System Integration Assessments, the contractor shall perform the following tasks:
2.3.1 Author system integration test plans and procedures.
2.3.2 Review NAS system and subsystem specifications, general project related technical documents included in a Request for Proposal (RFP) package (e.g., Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL), Data Item Descriptions (DID)), Interface Requirements Documentation, and Interface Control Documentation in order to determine contract compliance and system/subsystem compatibility. The contractor shall review these documents and provide recommendations to support system enhancements, corrections, and sustainment.
2.3.3 Conduct integration testing, identify interface incompatibility issues, and provide corrective action recommendations.
2.3.4 Support the operation, maintenance, upgrade, and modification of the LAAS Test Prototype (LTP), consisting of interconnected GPS receivers, correction processors, and VHF Data broadcast equipment, located at the Technical Center and remote sites. Remote installations within CONUS may be required within the period of performance of the contract. Appropriate hardware and software upgrades and/or modifications may be required to support use of the LTP in required testing. The contractor shall support LTP modification/upgrade requirements definition, modification/upgrade implementation, scheduling, and operation. The contractor shall also support flight tests of LAAS equipment at various locations within CONUS, OCONUS, or foreign locations as necessary.
2.3.5 Maintain and upgrade the Data Collection/Area Navigation (DCAN) as required to support flight tests. The avionics will be provided as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). This task shall require the modification and upgrade of existing real-time software in C language to perform data collection of aircraft state parameters and GPS data. This task shall require support personnel to provide data reduction and analysis support. Documents generated such as data reports or tech notes shall be logged and maintained in a central location
2.3.6 Maintain and upgrade prototype LAAS avionics as required to support flight tests. The avionics will be provided as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). This task shall require the modification and upgrade of real-time software in C language to perform data collection of aircraft state parameters and GPS data.
