Requirements definition answers the question: “How would you see information systems supporting Task X?” REQUIREMENTS DEVELOPMENT METHODOLOGY. A logical, step-wise approach to think through the tasks that are performed to meet the specific public health objectives (analyze business processes), rethink the tasks to increase effectiveness and efficiency (redesign business processes), and describe what the information system must do to support those tasks (define system requirements).

These requirements are used to determine the detailed application design which solves the requirements. ENVOY has requested that GTE Data Services(GTEDS) provide project management and technical services required to facilitate the migration of telecommunications and data processing services from their [_____]* site, located in [_____]*, into the GTEDS commercial data center located in Temple Terrace, Florida. Requirements Definition. Once a project is approved, a development team member is assigned to create a requirements document outlining the nature of the document. At the same time, the DevTrack administrator creates a project environment that will be the repository for project tasks and the source of project reporting. Any development team member may be assigned the task of generating a requirements document, and that person will be responsible to confer with anyone in the company who can provide needed information.
