- TEACHER ASSISTANCE. A. The District and Association agree that participation in the State sponsored Teacher Assistance Program would be beneficial for beginning, experienced, and mentor teachers. Both the District and Association wish to encourage and support those staff interested in participating as mentor, beginning, or experienced teachers share a mutual interest in providing differentiated and flexible sources of support for teachers new to Xxxxxxx Public Schools. This support shall include an induction and mentoring component with the following elements. To participate in this program the District and Association In-Service Professional Education Committee will review, develop and oversee the implementation of the Teacher Assistance Program each year prior to July 1. This will be accomplished within the following guidelines:
