TEACHER FILES. A. No evaluative materials, excluding references and information obtained in the process of evaluating the teacher for employment, shall be placed in a teacher's file unless the teacher has an opportunity to read the material. The teacher shall acknowledge that he or she has read such material by affixing his or her signature on the actual copy to be filed with the understanding that such signature merely signifies that the teacher has read the material to be filed. Such signature does not necessarily indicate agreement with its content.
