Teacher Rebuttal. The teacher will have the right to attach an explanation to any evaluation provided such explanation shall be filed prior to the end of the current school term.

Teacher Rebuttal. After the conclusion of the evaluation process (the summative conference), a teacher can file a rebuttal. If the teacher feels his/her formal written evaluation is incomplete, inaccurate, or unjust, he/she may put his/her objections in writing to the observer and the Assistant Superintendent, and have them attached to the evaluation report to be placed in his/her personnel file within thirty (30) days of the summative conference. A copy signed by both parties shall be retained by the teacher.

  • Teacher “Teacher” shall mean all persons in the appropriate unit employed by the District in a position for which the person must be licensed by the State of Minnesota, but shall not include the superintendent and any other licensed administrators who devote more than fifty (50%) percent of their time to administrative or supervisory duties, confidential employees, supervisory employees, essential employees, and such other employees as excluded by law.
