Teacher Work Day. 1. Certified staff will have the option to choose one of the following work schedules – 7:40am to 3:40pm or 8:00am to 4:00pm. The certified staff member will complete and sign a form at the fall in-service meeting declaring which option they will follow for the school year. Certified staff will be available for meetings (IEP, staff meetings, professional development) before and after school from 7:30am to 4:00pm regardless of the work schedule chosen and without additional cost to the district. 2. Special activities requiring additional time shall not be included or considered part of A above, but shall be in addition to the minimum day as set out above. 3. Adjustments are at the discretion of the superintendent. 4. On days preceding a non-work day, teachers may leave at 3:40pm regardless of which work schedule is chosen. Teachers will be required to stay on these days if the superintendent finds it necessary.
