Teaching Faculty Duties. The essential duties and responsibilities comprising the workload of teaching faculty members fall into three categories. Recognizing that work in these areas constitutes the faculty member’s professional obligation to the University, all these activities shall form the basis of departmental considerations in developing workload assignments which are reasonable and equitable.
