Temporary Appointment of Campus Police Officers. A. The University may appoint a Campus Police Officer on a temporary basis to fulfill an immediate staffing need while an employee is on extended leave, for a predetermined time-limited duration. The recruitment and offer letter will notify the applicant that the position is a temporary position and its expected end date.
