Common use of Temporary Electrical Service Clause in Contracts

Temporary Electrical Service. Owner shall secure electrical service to supply a minimum 750 KW of 3-phase, 480/277 volt electrical power during construction. Owner shall procure, install, and maintain temporary service to up to three 3-phase, 480/277 volt temporary service transformers located throughout the site. The transformer sizing, locations, and underground electrical feed routing layout are to be determined jointly by the Owner, the Design-Builder and the energy supplier. Design-Builder shall pay energy demand and usage charges up to Substantial Completion.
