The Board acknowledges the desirability of giving reasonable support and assistance to teachers with respect to proper maintenance of control and discipline in the classroom. A teacher shall have the right to exclude, temporarily, a student from class when the misbehavior or disruptive effect of the behavior makes the continued presence of the student in the classroom detrimental to the success of other students after the exercise and conclusion of an assertive discipline plan.
