Temporary Teachers. Application of Act) of The Teachers’ Life Insurance (Government Contributory) Act shall include teachers employed as a “temporary teacher” under Clause 2 of The Education Act, 1995 provided the term specified for the temporary contract is for a period of at least 20 teaching days (full or partial). The insurance coverage provided pursuant to this Clause will be effective from the first day of the contract to the end of the insurance year. Article Seven
Temporary Teachers. A Temporary Full-Time Teacher shall be paid at the same rate as that prescribed for a Full-Time Teacher with corresponding classification.
Temporary Teachers. Temporary teachers’ contracts expire automatically at the end of the contract term. Temporary teachers are not entitled to any of the notice rights of procedures herein prescribed for career or probationary teachers nonrenewed as a result of reduction in force.
Temporary Teachers. 10.7.1 The District shall limit the number of temporary unit members to the equivalent number of unit members on leave and/or filling partial-year assignments and/or non-mandated categorical program.
10.7.1.1 Those temporary teachers who are converted to probationary status will be designated as Prob0, Prob1, or Prob2 no later than November 30 of each school year.
10.7.2 Temporary classification is appropriate for those replacing a teacher on leave and/or filling partial-year assignment and/or in a non-mandated categorical program.
10.7.3 When a teacher is made probationary after serving at least 75% of the school year as a temporary with a preliminary or clear credential and CLAD, one year of temporary service counts toward the required two years of probationary service (Ed. Code Sec. 44918(a)).
Temporary Teachers. 4 11.1.1 Every temporary teacher hired before the second semester shall be evaluated 5 once during the school year.
6 11.1.2 Written comments given to temporary teachers by the administration may be 7 completed upon the District provided Evaluation—Temporary form.
Temporary Teachers. In filling the remaining positions the Board will give priority to applications as follows:
Temporary Teachers. Unit members on a temporary contract shall be placed on the appropriate salary schedule based upon training and experience in accordance with policy.

14.1 A temporary teacher is a teacher who is hired to replace a teacher on any leave for a period of one year, but not less than one semester, during a school year.
14.2 A temporary teacher is entitled to all rights of teachers within this district, excluding rehiring for the succeeding school year.
Temporary Teachers. 18.1 Upon completion of the second year of service, part time and full time temporary teachers shall be considered for vacant positions in accordance with their seniority, qualifications, evaluations and percentage of employment. If a second year temporary teacher receives an unsatisfactory evaluation, the District may give a non-reelection notice on or before March 15 of the second full year of service.
18.1.1 The District shall provide a list of temporary teachers and teachers on leave to the Association each year, no later than October 30th.
Temporary Teachers. 20.1 Temporary teachers shall be entitled to all benefits provided for in this Agreement.
20.2 Temporary teachers shall be entitled to the same salary benefits as regular teachers.
20.3 In filling positions for the ensuring school year, the Board shall not place applicants for employment until temporary teachers who served the preceding school year have been considered. To be considered for employment a temporary teacher must have been recommended by his/her immediate supervisor.
