Temporary Teachers. A temporary teacher is an employee as defined in section 44919 and 44920 in the Education Code. 14.1 A temporary teacher is a teacher who is hired to replace a teacher on any leave for a period of one year, but not less than one semester, during a school year. 14.2 A temporary teacher is entitled to all rights of teachers within this district, excluding rehiring for the succeeding school year.
Temporary Teachers. 18.1 Upon completion of the second year of service, part time and full time temporary teachers shall be considered for vacant positions in accordance with their seniority, qualifications, evaluations and percentage of employment.
