Common use of Temporary Leave to Serve as a Long-Term Substitute Clause in Contracts

Temporary Leave to Serve as a Long-Term Substitute. A paraprofessional who immediately returns to the bargaining unit after taking a temporary leave to work as a long-term substitute in the Public Schools of Brookline, shall be credited with the time worked as a long-term substitute for all purposes under this contract.” (The parties understand that work as a long-term substitute is not bargaining unit work.)
