Temporary Performance of Lower Duties. A permanent employee or a casual employee working a pre-scheduled shift temporarily assigned to perform the duties of a lower paid position shall not suffer any decrease in earnings. This provision shall not apply to shifts where a casual employee accepts to work an additional shift on a day where the casual employee was not already scheduled to work.
