Common use of Ten-Day Timeline Clause in Contracts

Ten-Day Timeline. Within ten (10) days after such written notice of submission to arbitration, the District and the Association will attempt to agree upon a mutually acceptable arbitrator, and to obtain a commitment from such arbitrator to serve. If the parties are unable to agree upon an arbitrator or to obtain such commitment, the parties shall select an arbitrator in the same manner as the fact finder is selected under Section 7.7.1 of this Agreement, with the Grievant striking the first name.
