Common use of Ten Years Service Clause in Contracts

Ten Years Service. Any participant with a minimum of ten years of continuous service and whose employment is terminated prior to the date he becomes eligible for retirement benefits under section 2-326, 2-327, 2-328 or 2-332, upon attaining the age of 65 years, shall be eligible for retirement benefits under the provisions of section 2-330, upon application to the pension board of trustees. The form of the benefit will be based on the formula which was in effect at the time of termination.
