Common use of Tenured Rights Attained Clause in Contracts

Tenured Rights Attained. Tenure rights shall continue in full force during periods of less than full- time employment. Half-time teachers may earn tenure in the same manner as full-time teachers provided they complete the required probationary period satisfactorily and they are re-employed. Tenured half-time teachers may seek transfers to both full-time as well as half-time positions through the assignment and transfer program.
