Term of Probationary Period. Upon each appointment to a permanent position, an employee, except as outlined below, shall serve a probationary period of nine (9) months dating from the date of his/her appointment. During the probationary period, an employee has no right to appeal and serves at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority.
